FIRST CHANCE is a 70' vessel, built in Kennebunkport by local
craftsmen. Tow deck and a spacious bow area provide exceptional
viewing opportunities. Twin high output diesel engines with a
cruising speed in excess of 20 knots allow us to reach the feeding
grounds at Jeffrey's Ledge in about an hour. Total trip time is
apx 4 - 4 1/2 hours. Our captains are USCG licensed and are skilled
mariners and fishermen. Most of our staff have spent their lives
on the local coastal waters and can provide you with a wealth
of local stories and information. Whale watches aboard FIRST CHANCE
are expertly narrated by local naturalists. Our entire staff is
dedicated to providing you with the most informative and enjoyable
trip possible. We also operate a "scenic" lobster cruise aboard
"Second Chance", a 1 1/2 hour fully narrated trip that shows the
coast of Kennebunkport, seal watching, and a lobstering demonstration.Season:

Yankee Whale Watch
Join Yankee Whale Watch out of Gloucester, MA for an exciting

This trip is ideal for combining kayaking and snorkeling in the
Sea of Cortez, as well as offering close up encounters with the
Pacific gray whale on the west coast of Baja.The four days spent
sea kayaking in the Sea of Cortez explores the marine park south

bones in natural hot springs and explore the canyons of the Sierra
Giganta Mountains. This portion of the trip offers scenic paddling,
great snorkeling among tropical fish, dolphin encounters and spectacular

watching base camp nestled in the dunes on a remote barrier island
