FIRST CHANCE is a 70' vessel, built in Kennebunkport by local craftsmen. Tow deck and a spacious bow area provide exceptional viewing opportunities. Twin high output diesel engines with a cruising speed in excess of 20 knots allow us to reach the feeding grounds at Jeffrey's Ledge in about an hour. Total trip time is apx 4 - 4 1/2 hours. Our captains are USCG licensed and are skilled mariners and fishermen. Most of our staff have spent their lives on the local coastal waters and can provide you with a wealth of local stories and information. Whale watches aboard FIRST CHANCE are expertly narrated by local naturalists. Our entire staff is dedicated to providing you with the most informative and enjoyable trip possible.
